April 25, 201412 yr Hi, I have a problem with the FSX G1000, it shows no so called "Flight path information", instead it shows BRG 4 times!! Although there is no FP loaded in the picture, the problem is still there if one is loaded. Has anybody got a solution how to get back to the "default" view?
April 26, 201412 yr Hey Henry, I don't know how in-depth the addon you are using is, but IRL to change those values you'd use the MFD FMS knob (the fat one) the go the the "AUX" page. Then used the FMS knob (the little one) to scroll to the "System Setup" page. On the top right corner you'll see listed out the choices for what you want on top. To edit them you'd press in the FMS knob to activate the cursor, then use the fat knob to scroll and select which value you want changed, then use the little knob to scroll through to select what you would want, like GS, TRK, XTK, DIST, ETE, etc, and press ENTER. Might sound complicated via text but it's pretty easy. Disclaimer again is I'm talking RW operation, I have no idea how in depth or even what addon that is, so your mileage may vary. ^_^ Regards,Kyle
April 26, 201412 yr Try installing from the little red airplane icon - I presume that's the Flight1 Mustang? Looks like a corrupt install. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 26, 201412 yr Author Thank you Kyle for your very good explanation, all worked fine and I finally have my flight informations back. It is indeed the Flight1 Cessna Mustang which has a great G1000!
