Problems with the 777

Featured Replies

Hello.

I purchased the 777 yesterday.

I was flying not in full screen when i decided to put it in full screen.

I cliked "ALT+ENTER" then my screen went black.

I still heard the sounds like nothing happened but i couldn't do anything.

Help me please

This is something that happens with FSX - regardless of aircraft.

Use full screen, or use windowed, but don't switch between the two during flights.  Otherwise, what you saw might happen, which is unfortunate after spending hours on a flight.

And not only with the full screen, also when i change the weather or the time of the day

Ok i'll do that.

This.

I found that if FSX is not responding, opening the Task Manager, right click on FSX and "Bring to front" might save the flight.

Yeah, I've gotten it to come back occasionally by doing that, or some crazy combination of ALT+TAB and other things.  I've found that it's best to just avoid letting it get to that point, though...I don't like killing FSX after hours of flying.  Definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

To get a view back, I have pressed the Esc key and then clicked on Continue Flying in the next box that comes up. Also I have pressed Alt+Enter many times over 15-30 seconds. Sometimes the view comes back and sometimes you can turn off your PC because the flight is over.
