Can anybody explain how to install the Garmin 1000 into a FSX Cessna ?

I just purchased the program,however the instructions do not explain .

From the description, it would appear that installing the package also gives you a new C172 model to select from the aircraft selection page..

I noticed there is a file called FS2X_G1000 Installation Instructions in DOC format.However I cannot

open the file using wordpad which should work with a DOC file.

Any idea what program to use in order to read the file ?

I am installing the G1000 package but the problem is that I do not get the newest G1000 screen.Do I have to

make some modifications in the Mooney_Bravo panel and if yes what ?

I hope someone else will jump in here... you were talking about a C172... so where does the Mooney come in?

 The Mooney is an aircraft in FSX which I prefer over the C172.But I think the principle should be the same

 for both.

Yes,I have but so far no answer.They also have a forum which is out of order for the time being
