What scenery is that, as that is my former base? I've never seen it look so good in FSX.

We lived in Carterton until 2000 too. :) the scenery is Horizon VFR photo scenery, the lighting is Night Environment British Isles, Brize Norton Air Base is one of the airports on Uk2000 VFR Airfields. Although I do have REX and Shade neither is running in this pic.

Thanks for the answers.

It looks like it has changed a lot since I was last there in 1976 as I watched the latest corteges from Afghanistan(may they all R.I.P.).

I was not aware that Brize Norton was featured in UK2000 as I bought 6 of their city airports recently. Is that the Aerosoft Night Environment recently touted?

Yes it is the Aerosoft Night Environment,  The Brize Norton Airport is not UK2000 Xtreme it is on UK2000 "VFR Airfields by Playsim volume 1" each disc adds about 60-80 Airfields covering the same areas as the Horizon/Playsims VFR Photo scenery.
