yep - affinity mask should be 14.  15 is binary 1111 and you want binary 1110.  To explain.  i.e 1111 is running fsx on all cores, 1110 is running fsx on 3 cores leaving services and operating system on core 0 to avoid stutters.

 

Ideally, antialiasing and tri linear should be of in fsx (which will remove the entries from the cfg).  These are better controlled using Nvidia Inspecor.

 

Would strongly suggest UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=30

 

I also use the following, though they will default back if you change any settings in FSX - This is subject to your system being able to handle - what are your system specs?

Ah so would the affinity mask stop the stutters or lag that I get at EGKK on vatsim or EGLL.

8gb RAM

Windows 8.1 

Water cooling

650W power supply.

2TB HDD

GTX 760 OC.

I'm not sure anything will completely stop the stutters around London.  There are so many airports and airfield in the vicinity and so a lot of AI traffic too (you though I note you are not using any AI).

 

Affinitymask=14 smoothed things out for me.

 

You could try adding FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.10 or 0.20to the "MAIN" section of your cfg.  I found using these smoothed things out a bit, but at the expense of a bit of sharpness on photoscenery (though not on default).

 

What speed are you running your CPU at?  Some of those i5s overclock well and give pretty good performance.

I too have a gtx760 and my config is very similar to yours. I actually get better performance with affinity mask set to 15 rather than 14. FFTF is set to .18 on my system and don't get the blurries, and mostly fly ORBX. I have also found that the ver. 320 WHQL GeForce driver to be the best at FSX with the 760, least stutters.

 

If I were you I would make the jump to DX10. The looks and performance will blow you away with your system.

Is FFTF in my cfg or do I add it I cant find it in there lol. I wouldn't mind getting rid of the blurries for example I get them when flying into Faro because I can only see the airport at thr last minute which is pretty annoying. I had DX10 but removed it due to some problems but may put it back onto my fsx.

There's a forum here specifically dedicated to DX10. I would highly recommend having a look around at some of the posts in there. There are some tutorials around to get it set up properly. You will want to get the DX10 Fixer (Steve's), which addresses most, if not all comparability problems of DX10. I have lots and lots of airport add-ons and don't remember the last time I had a major issue.

 

You can always go back to DX9, but you won't want to.

Try adding Scenery Config Editor to your Repertoire, works wonders.
