Ah man, I've tried out the 50th. Beautiful tone.

I have a custom shop 69 strat. ( the pickups are the only real difference from the American strat)

Perhaps we should all join up and create the AVSIM Lonely Hearts Band....Hmmm.....could be money in this....the Beatles did it.....

AVSIM Lonely Heart's Band
Yes.  You could name the band Beautiful Nerds.

Only on AVSIM can you take a thread from P3d features to forming a music group somehow.

By the way there are those new AVSIM groups http://forum.avsim.net/groups/

David Zambrano, CFII, CPL, IGI

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

Threads are like a river...they might meander...but soon, head back in the general direction of flow..lol.   You just have to not be part of the Anal Retentive Type A music group..and just have a good smile along that portion of meandering 'river bank'....   Just flew FSX to see how Sekiu 11S looked.  Pretty much the same...in some ways both P3D and FSX are divergent, but in a lot of other ways, they fit side-by-side.  The bottom line, is that they are all good to fly....as far as it meets the User's needs and requirements. They're all just fine....

Well...I just created the Avsim Lonely Hearts Club Band group..and before it has public access, it needs to be reviewed and approved by a Moderator.  For now it has a password barring it, but I didn't create one..so perhaps that is how it stays from public view..until it is taken off...and the door is open...:)

I told the first fire-side tale of one of my music making experiences...and hope that it will open soon,to all for you to join in...and talking/sharing about being musicians..and where that hobby/profession has taken you...experiences and such. It should be a fun read..and entertaining as well!  Hopefully, those partaking, will have fun in the Group.

Great video of Beau ... I have many coder friends that are also musicians (myself included, although I'm not as talented on the vocals).  Not sure what it is about music and programmers ... perhaps just how logical the octaves/notes are laid out and how music is organized we find similar relationships to code.

Cheers, Rob.

I would agree.  I am a consultant in the IT field and I have encountered many musicians, like myself, as I have gone from consultant assignment to consultant assignment.
