May 21, 201412 yr Hi All I'm new to FS2Crew and just have a quick question, that is whats the difference between Pilot Flying and Pilot Not Flying ? Many thanks WT
May 21, 201412 yr The pilot flying (PF) handles the controls (yoke, sidestick, autopilot, throttles), the other pilot does the ATC and monitors the PF's actions. You, of course, are the PF, and your FS2Crew "companion" is the PNF. What happened to AVSIM
May 21, 201412 yr Commercial Member The pilot not flying will also flip switches and perform actions (that are in his area of responsibility) based on his flows. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 21, 201411 yr Just to add,in the real world the captain decides who the PF and PNF are. Just incase you were wondering.
