When I tune a station frequency (VOR or ILS) I hear the morse code identifier. That's realistic and okay, but how do I silence it once the station is identified? Thanks.

Look on the radio panel.  Below where you tune the radios, there's a panel labeled MIC SELECTOR (and it has an orange toggle as to which source the MIC is using).  Below that is a bunch of circular knobs.  If the audio for a source is on, it will be lit up (white).  Click on it to turn it on and off.  Rotate it to adjust the volume.

I didn't think the volume control was modeled in the NGX

I checked that, and no audio selectors are lighted. I do enable the "marker" for my ILS approaches, but as I said, no selectors are enabled. It must be another action to disable it.
