All the georeferencing info is included, so they can be used with other moving map/GPS programs. But not sure how to set that up.Matt
February 24, 200521 yr Hi all, This looks like a great program, and I have downloaded the maps, and main program, unfortunately, I cannot, for the life of me, get to the general setup area to import the maps . . . guess I'll try reading the manual again.Sure would like it to work, it does look very promising as a great program.Best,Clay
February 25, 200521 yr Click on the Setup button at the bottom. You should then see some tabs at the top. Click on the 2nd one from the left that will list all the maps, once you get them imported. Then Right Click anywhere on that screen and it should bring up a pop-up menu with all the import options, just select "Mass Import" and point it to the folder where you have my maps unzipped. Hope this helps.Matt
February 25, 200521 yr Author Moderator Clay,Here you go ...1. The program opens on the map screen which initially will be blank.2. Click the Setup button (bottom-left). It will open on the Setup screen. Click the second tab from the left. Mine is named "58 Maps Defined" as I have installed the maps.3. Right-click that screen and choose Import Map ... Mass Import. Point the program to the folder containing all the JPGs etc. you downloaded. I created a sub-folder named Maps and put everything in there.4. Click OK and everything should be scanned. You should then be able to see the aircratf icon over the map.Hope that helps.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). February 25, 200521 yr There are some European charts available here.https://164.214.2.62/products/digitalaero/index.cfm#planBut I don't think they are not going to be easy to set up.Matt
February 25, 200521 yr Hi Matt, Stelios, the chart on the OziExplorer picture is an expired enroute chart I got from Dennis Megarry from myairplane.com for experimentation. The charts I used for "my project" are from the link you posted, https://164.214.2.62/products/digitalaero/index.cfm#plan All but the US enroute charts are currently publicly available. These charts come in PDF format. The image can be extracted (takes a minute or so) in great quality with Photoshop (it
February 25, 200521 yr Ok thanks, too bad there is no digital version of US enroute charts online. I have most of the paper maps, but they are so big that they will be very difficult to scan.I will have another look at the Europen enroute charts.Anyone have access to an oversized scanner??Matt

February 26, 200521 yr I wanted to offer my thanks to Rana Hossain for this great program, and to Matt Fox for all of the work on the maps. Your work is very much appreciated. I've been hoping for a simple moving map option for a long time. There was some mention of the memory issue (JPEG's vs GIF's), which made me wonder ... is any memory being used by the program for the maps when the kneeboard is not visible?
