Waypoints

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I have a problem with my fmc and I hope its an easy fix.

I use the website RouteFinder to find my route for fsx. But when I try to enter the waypoints my FMC says "Not in data base" anyone know of any fixes? Thanks a bunch!

Yes, in routefinder, select database you have in aircraft.

Thanks! So now if I got on route finder and match the cycle to the one in my fmc it should all work correctly?

Yes but you still need to understand how to enter the data into the FMC. For example airways and specific points get entered differently and you need to define the entry and exit points of airways. Without this understanding, you will get the FMC rejecting your entry, even if it is a valid point in the database. Current database is 1406 if I recall correctly. You can update this in the PMDG FMC using Navigraph if you want the very latest nav data.
