PMDG APP didn't work at Brussel EBBR ILS 25L

Featured Replies

After making a decent at Brussel Airport EBBR ILS 25L  there was a problem, APP didn't work , cause PMDG NAV/RAD is making frequentie 110.35/250, but it should be 110.30/250, see FSX/FSC.

Charts of the 25L ILS show 110.35 to be correct. Your airport scenery is either out of date or just incorrect. You can edit the frequency with tools such as ADE

Peter Schluter

You can also manually tune the ILS frequency and course that are showing in FS (and most likely in FSC), thus overriding the ones the FMC autotunes.

Indeed, the problem is not with the navdata, but with your scenery. 110.35 has been the ILS for 25L for quite some time now :-)

I had to manually tune for the first time due to a mismatch between FSX and my AIRAC/Charts the other week. I try to update AFCAD's prior to every flight - I guess that one wasn't quite as current.

FYI too - if this happens, go look at the FSX Map screen. It will show you the frequencies that are actually in use in the sim - enter that manually into the NAV RAD page and it'll fly it.
