I only use the free voice downloaded on  voxatc's site.

May be must I reinstal voxpopbase and  all the voice ?

 

Those are the "open Source" voices, correct?

I never got them because of OPEN Source thing and I do not like the idea of any outside Server running in the background on my PC.

Instead I purchased two voice packs.

 

In your case:

Did you uninstall the old VOXatc version before installing the newest version 6.46?

 

Did you start the Server to load them (takes a few minutes) before starting FSX or P3D)?

I don't start the Server, in previous versions it was ok without launching the server.

I've reinstalled properly 6.34 and I've still this blcak square popup !!!

I had the same problem with 6.45

 

What I did was replace the 6.45 version of the voxpop server folder with the previous working one and that seemed to fix the problem. At least for me, doing a full re-install on both VoxATC and voxpop made things worse.

Before updating to v6.46 did you uninstall the old v6.34 first?

I tried to copy voxpop folder but it's the same. But I hav',nt vovpopserver.exe in this folder (as it's written in the help .pdf file...) . Ive it in the main folder of voxatc...

I know you have a different setup but my basic install has lower numbers.

This in itself may not be a problem but I thought I would mention it.

The window numbers are different for each aircraft. To give you an example, the NGX has about 24 windows in the config. MD-11 on the other hand has over 90 windows.

 

As far as I know, FSX doesn't support windows numbers past 99. This is why MD-11 is giving problems to those who would like to use both VoxATC and FS2Crew with the MD-11.

Maybe Jean Marc could try a default FS aircraft and see if there is a problem?

 

My PMDG NGX has 20 windows?

I do not use FS2Crew.

 

Whenever I have a problem or I am testing new stuff I always do it in Cessna default at KSEA ... as an initial setup whenever possible..

 

However, Jean Marc had VOXatc working in the previous version.

 

Maybe the developer could give directions exactly the steps to doing for all updates depending on what you have installed:

For the VOXatc with its default VOXatc voices, the 3rd party internet (server required) voices and payware voices like AT&T.

But I did'ent remove 6.20, and I've installed 6.34 and 6.46 with 6.2 not removed.

In panel.cfg off may carenado c 152, I saw the both atc windows at 16 and 17 but at 100 and 101. 16 and 17 were the last windows...

 

I suppose that 6.20 not removed with 6.34 and / or 6.46 has done the double windows adressing...

When you previously said you removed .. to me that means "deleted" the old version manually.

So, now we know that un-installing the old version and then installing the new version works ok.
