July 19, 201411 yr I've looked around, and can't seem to get a fix for the landing gear not extending with the crash detection on. Anyone have a real fix for this head ach? On a side note, even though RealAir gets a pass for stuff like this (and others get fried), this really ruins this plane for me. With Crash Detect off, stress and engine damage are also off. You can peg the CH temps and it wont matter at all. In fact, what RealAir has sold us is a wide open throttle plane. Maybe a V2.1 is in order.

In the configuration manager that came with the plane set the suspension to grass that should solve the issues. There is another topic on avsim that has another fix for it aswell which involves changing the CFG. ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170
July 19, 201411 yr Why do u need crash detect on? I know when I'm running the engine too high and I know when I crash. Plus I fly online and you basically have to disable crash detect there too because of user aircraft I'd much rather have the possibility of a gear up landing (detect off) anyway | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
July 19, 201411 yr Is this why whenever I attempt to land the Duke it swerves off the runway? The landing gear appears to be down and locked (three greens) but regardless it just swerves off the runway! Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. Internet: 1 Gig Fibre. When the B60v2 Config Panel is used to change the suspension setting (hard/soft), the comma is reintroduced and will need hand editing to a period. Steve Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com

July 20, 201411 yr Author Thank you very much SteveW! I'll give it a try. "Why do u need crash detect on? I know when I'm running the engine too high and I know when I crash." See... RealAir gets a pass on stuff like this, others get fried. Oh well... Any-who... I tried setting the softer setting, and even turned off the dumb "cluck" of the landing gear (planes Ive been in never do this dumb cluck thing... and certainly never shake the freaking plane, and before you shake your finger at me, they where Bonanza, C210, Lear 35). I was a little surprised, because the Legacy doesn't have this problem... and RA should have had an update/fix on their web site a long time ago. Thanks again Steve!
