August 7, 201411 yr Thanks Rob , then i stay away from reinstalling FTX global again , Gérard Well.....you have made an image of Win7 and a backup of your FSX folder. So I agree with Robin....if it is true that you can turn FTX Global on and off as you like then it would be a shame not to at least try it! EDIT: ok.....Robin posted the above as I was writing this reply. So no On/Off.......but the reinstall from image option is still there. Up to you. In worst case, if you get OOMs again, you just reinstall from the image and FSX backup. (you did do that exactly as I described right......(I would hate for your backup image not to work)......you ended up with a WindowsImageBackup file + you made a copy of your whole FSX folder?) After the reinstall from image It will be as before and as if FTX was never installed in the first place. I have no idea what that FTX vector stuff is, but if possible then try only one thing at the time. So FTX Global first. Rob Robson
August 7, 201411 yr I don't own FTX Global and I really don't believe a full Windows/FSX reinstall will resolve this problem as I have no issues with many other addons. Perhaps a full reinstall of the 777 from an all in one file is what I need to try. I will see what happens after SP1b and add a support ticket if needed. Mark CYYZ
August 7, 201411 yr Hi Rob , yes i did exactly what you discribed and even better haha , i made 2 image files and 2 backup folders from my fsx with the fsx documents folder , fsx program data folder and the appdata roaming and local folders , just in case i ever clean my extern backupdrive too fast hahah , and delete accidently 1 file , i have more than enough space at my backup drive and it was only 15 extra minutes extra time so just to be sure .... Gérard Best regards , Gérard van Veldhoven
