July 21, 201411 yr Commercial Member I keep all of my addons and fly them once in a while. As you say Kyle, its not like I am running out of space on my 1TB hard drive that is dedicated to FSX. Exactly. Admittedly, I just never re-installed the LDS 76 after my last reformat, but that's because the poor thing is just ancient. Much like the MD11 and 744, it just looks/feels dated. The JS41 and NGX can hold their own for a while longer. I certainly didn't uninstall them until I reformatted. Figured if I used them, I used them... When I got around to reinstalling everything, I just thought "I'm probably not going to use these..." and left them off. Kyle Rodgers
July 21, 201411 yr My NGX is pulled out of the hangar every other day. Still! ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
July 21, 201411 yr I'm also will fly the 737 again. But first I enjoy the 777. I will do my first transatlantic flight. Philipp Schwaegerl
July 21, 201411 yr Author I'll fly the 737 when SP2 comes out I think. I just need to get used to the 777 for a while and see what that has in store for me. I really want to go deep into the systems and read the manuals for this one. Regards, Jeremy Chesney
July 21, 201411 yr I don't think you can compare the NGX with the 777X - both are completely different aircraft. A rugged 737NG by far isn't as automated and 'fancy' as a modern, fly-by-wire(d) Boeing 777. Sure the 777 addon from PMDG has more advanced systems and more details here and there but keep in mind that you'd probably feel the same in RL when transitioning from a 737 to a 777. I don't have the 777 yet and have only flown it at a friend's house prior to SP1 therefore my judgement is limited but I did find it to be very similar to the NG when it comes to looks, modelling, sound and the general feel - but it's far more automated of course. With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
