how I can run avlasoft EFB on client PC (NETWORKED) ?

Featured Replies

Hi friends

I need to use avlasoft EFB on my laptop (not on FSX PC), whats the procedures need to done that ?.

Thx

The installation guide that comes with the software explains step by step how to do this.

Its actually very easy compared to say setting up weather over the network with simconnect doing the communications.

I set mine up years ago and sorry but I forgot the steps or checks so really I'm no help; all I remember is I wish all networked software was that easy to setup.

Good luck.

Thanks man,

Hope I get help from the others, I really cant share the HARD DRIVE wich contain the FSX to the other PC and I have follow so so many fixes but nothing help.

thats why I am asking, I am really hope to avoiding the sharing files procedures.

I have read that the EFB have its own networking technique, is that mean I do not need to share the FSX to the other pc and EFB do all the job ?

I hope so because really I cannot share anything from my PC.

P10 of the installation manual that came with your purchase shows it step by step with pictures. If I were to help you I would only repeat whats in the manual word for word.

I'm leaving for work shortly, but I have FSX on a laptop networked to a desktop PC (both running Windows 7) just for Aivlasoft EFB.

Here's a link on getting your two computers networked that may help:

I may be able to chime in with more info tomorrow, but make sure you have your computers set up with proper file sharing so they can both see each others folders.

I have read that the EFB does not need to all those steps, it contain its own networking technique.

If I am wrong please notify me !!!!
