777 Activation

Featured Replies

Everytime I select any variation of the 777 in free flight it asks for my activation key which I put in and it connects to the server and eventually tells me that my 777 has been successfully activated however if I close out of FSX and restart FSX and again select the 777 it asks for my activation key again. I tried loading up my NGX and did so without being asked to enter my activation key again.

I'm not sure if this is related to the issue but I noticed once I activate my 777 and go into the sim my landing gear is invisible from the exterior view, the rest of the aircraft is all there.

Yes, I run everything as an admin and I have UAC set to never notify me. I'm just confused as to why this is happening only to my 777 and not any of my other payware aircraft.

If it continues you probably need to raise a support ticket

Both activation keys in the same window? Or activate them in the same session?

Samuel Scully

I had the same problem so I put in a ticket and here is the solution straight from Ryan and crew...

Goto the start button and type "services.msc" into the search box and press enter. Locate the service called "FlexNET licensing service." in the list that comes up. Right click it, choose properties, and under the drop down menu for "startup Type" ensure that it is set to "Manual". If it is set to anything else you'll see the behavior you mentioned.

This work for me and I am now enjoying this magnificent aircraft. Hope this helps.
