I only have 2 choices 1..repair all program features or 2..remove all installed features...Is this right?

How much does it cost to build something like that?....i have about 8x 22.5" monitors, of different makes/models ACER/DELL, laying around and after seeing this vid I said "Hey what the hell".........does that seem doable on one computer with 2 GPUs?

Looks like I hold off for a while. I was ready to jump last week but after all the problems people are having with add-ons and such I'll wait a little longer and see what 2.5 brings. Great thread !

I have a Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen3 with a I5 2500K. I went into the bios, selected 45 on the multiplier, saved, close , reboot and away I went at 4.5 ghz. Haven't touched anything else since. That was 2 years ago and still going strong! It really can't get any easier then that. Today's mother boards are geared up to do overclocking. Just get the right chip with a K and google a little and your good to go. This combo runs awesome.

Overclocking in today's environment. with most enthusiastic motherboards and "K" processor, is a walk in the park.(Nothing like 775 sockets (Q8400) with the good old North bridge.) Now all you have to do is just change the multi and you up to 4.5 in a snap.

Here's a suggestion...forget about the FPS. If it runs smooth then your good to go. To many simmers out there think that FPS is the holy grail. Well it's not. I'm running a I5 2500k @4.5 ghz and getting a pretty good experience without worry about FPS. I stop that along time ago. As long as it is flyable just enjoy what you are got.

I had the same problem so I put in a ticket and here is the solution straight from Ryan and crew... Goto the start button and type "services.msc" into the search box and press enter. Locate the service called "FlexNET licensing service." in the list that comes up. Right click it, choose properties, and under the drop down menu for "startup Type" ensure that it is set to "Manual". If it is set to anything else you'll see the behavior you mentioned. This work for me and I am now enjoying this magnificent aircraft. Hope this helps.

Yes sir that's what I meant I run everything as Admin. Something got messed up. Like I said the only changes to my system was the update. When I did a system restore it removed the up date so when I get home I will try and run it again as Admin and make sure it is check and hope that will help....I hope!

I didn't do or change anything except installing the update. My computer is and has always been run as admin mode. Should I re install the Sp1 add run as admin? Where can I find the FLEXnet file? Thanks Kyle

Ever since the sp1 update I can't get this thing to work. It asks for my Activation code which has never happen before.When I put in my code I get an invalid error, then it crashes. Same with the 737NGX. I put in a ticket and still waiting on a "fix/reply". So I am reaching out here to see if anyone has this problem and or suggestions that might help get me back in the air.... I'm getting the shakes so I need my 777 fix

I read the manual,well most of it, and never had a problem with the activation code...until now ! I sent in a ticket...this sucks :mellow:

Whats that all about Seah?....Where do i look for DX10 and fix it cause I had to stop flying this A/C. (I still can't get the throttles to function properly thru FSUIPC...ya I tried all the recommendations and fixes.) I just can't find the patience to do this ,don't do this, try this, just to fly the 777. All other a/c that I fly work great, so this has to be specific to the 777 and needs to be addressed asap. DX10 fixer?

Wow that's a lot of flying...I have yet to get set up correctly with FSUIPC..throttles are mess up and some buttons on my yoke won't work :( The MD11 is collecting dust as is the NGX.....but I see a bright future when time permits. Happy flying !!

You can teach a gorilla to fly an airplane ..if you had enough bananas. The point is that 90% of the training is for emergency's. What happen if this goes or you lose this, or if this goes by by. When I got my private pilots license that's all we did, as for actually flying the airplane that's pretty straight forward. Learning the "systems" also take up quite a lot of training time.

I'll be happy with a simple check list to go from start up to shut down. I have a lap top I use for reading the manual and it's a ###### trying to learn while you fly..

Take it out side and clean it with a leaf blower.....take about 3 seconds, all done :blush:

I have yet to fly this a/c because of this problem...no control what so ever, all settings in all A/C have gone missing. No matter how I adjust it they just don't work correctly.I have purchased FSUIPC in hopes of solving this issue. I think I might have received a "corrupt" download...not sure. Now I have to try to figure out FSUIPC so I can try and fly this bird. Very sad indeed.....

I'm sitting at the gate following the tutorial and the memory jumps well over 4xxxmb (i have a system monitor gadget) and the FPS was 0.01! :huh: Beat that all you simmers....And it still did not crash...go figure!

Nothing works any more since I installed this a/c. I have saitek yoke and rudders that have been working right up until I installed the 777. I have tried other aircraft and the same thing happens with them. The throttles do not go to the stops ,no full power, the ailerons wont go to the left or right all the way, none of my switches profiles work any more. Nor do my key commands I have set up on my keyboard! I have re-calibrated all controls thru FSX reset all the assignments and they are still not working.(I don't use FSUIPC settings). This is the first failure of my flight control system since day one. It is so messed up I ready to do a system restore back before the install. Should I proceed with this restore will I have to download it again or can I just burn it to a disc and install it from there after the system restore. Man I 'm tired of messing with this. Any suggestions before I shoot this right between the CDU's :Raised Eyebrow: I have been running the NGX with no problems what so ever until now. Thanks in advance.

Stop looking at the FPS ..... if it's smooth then it's good to go. You can go crazy trying to get the "perfect" FPS. Every system is different.

I'm having the same problem....vas is up around 40xx just sitting at the gate. I defragged, then restarted, loaded up NGX and was at 3xxx. Loaded the 777 and had a crash. all settings have remained this way since the NGX came out with no crashs so I do think this is a little bit "heavy" with resources. I will start lowering settings to see if I can compromise for this.
