July 30, 201411 yr I went to KDTW (P3D V2.2 stock airport) today and noticed some terminal buildings missing.Could someone please take a quick look and verify?Screenshot of my top down view: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g15r45pgh3hiq0t/KDTW-Missing-terminals.JPG Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
July 31, 201411 yr Vaughan, Definitely missing that terminal and more than likely some other buildings on the grounds (storage tanks etc.). Your screenshot doesnt look anything like what I'm seeing. I can post a pic later if need be.
July 31, 201411 yr Those buildings don't appear in my stock P3D KDTW either. The jetways are there, but not connected to anything. - Jens Peter "Penz" Pedersen
July 31, 201411 yr In my case the culprit was a MyTraffic scenery file, you might want to check that (BR2_KDTW.BGL). So it wasn't actually the stock airport ... - Jens Peter "Penz" Pedersen
July 31, 201411 yr Author P "Penz" Pedersen, "In my case the culprit was a MyTraffic scenery file, you might want to check that (BR2_KDTW.BGL)." That was the problem. Thanks for your help. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
August 2, 201411 yr Author KDTW default with P3D v2.2 Spirit Nice screenshot. When I post a link to my screenshot (at DropBox) only a text line shows up in the post for people to click on to see it. How do you get the entire screenshot to appear in your post? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
August 2, 201411 yr .....How do you get the entire screenshot to appear in your post? With BBCode, that's all. The link is embedded in like this: [img]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2014/07/31/uzxv3.jpg[/img] Spirit
August 2, 201411 yr Author Spirit, Thanks, but I ended up with an error ..when I tried adding the bracket, img, bracket , link , bracket, / , img, bracket. "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." I tried doing this one:"https://www.dropbox.com/s/g15r45pgh3hiq0t/KDTW-Missing-terminals.JPG" Another test using Photobucket rather than DropBox: It worked but required the BracketURL=HTTP--routing-BracketImage..routing ..ene imgBracket..end Url bracket. *** I joined fsfilesDOTorg and did a jpg which I will try the BBcode link they gave me: It worked so as far as I can tell this cannor be done with DropBox ... I do not know why .. but there is a formatting difference with the BBcode. This is what the error looked like : Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
August 3, 201411 yr Sorry, that's something the admin should know. I've my screenshots here http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/ and it works very well. You've to register but it's free. Spirit
August 3, 201411 yr Author Spirit, In my last post I mentioned I too had joined (fsfiles.org/registered) and the last screenshot I did was from (fsfiles.org) as a BBcode. For some unknown reason Dropbox will not provide BBcodes, just shared "links". I think the Dropbox shared links are encriped to prevent others from hacking accounts ... just my thought / understanding from searches on the internet. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
