August 17, 201411 yr I flew from Mexico City to Miami,Florida without any problems. After that I tried a flight from Bogota ( Columbia ) to Miami with the same payload, fuel quantity as before. When selecting the v speeds I got a CDU message : V speeds not available. I wonder what the problem is ? Altitude ? However the altitude difference between Mexico City and Bogota is only a few hundred meteres . Any ideal wat is wrong ? Thanks Hubert Werni Herbert Werni
August 18, 201411 yr Any ideal wat is wrong ?See FCOMv2 page 11.60.19. I receive this message when there is a mismatch between GTW, runway length, altimeter setting, flaps, derates, and assumed temperature. Michael Cubine
August 19, 201411 yr I wonder what the problem is ? Altitude ? However the altitude difference between Mexico City and Bogota is only a few hundredmeteres . Few hundred meters however puts Bogota comfortably over 8000ft. Which might mean there is no more V speeds in database. --Peter Fabian
