August 18, 201411 yr ???? Note, NOT ILS Approach mode, that has a noticeable difference of course in that it acquires the glide slope. This is on the Captain Sim B-52 if it matters.
August 18, 201411 yr I'm not sure of your question... There's typically a NAV or VOR/LOC switch which will hold your current track (if using GNSS) or course if flying a radial off a VOR. APR mode is more sensitive and only for ILS approaches. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 18, 201411 yr Typically, this would be a difference in sensitivity - the VOR mode would allow bigger deviations before correcting.. Bert
August 18, 201411 yr Yep but for FSX autopilots it's the same haha - both usually suck at intercepts. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
