FSX Crash PMDG 737 NGX

Featured Replies

Hello,

My fsx crashes sometimes on startup - here is the error :

Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14

Faulting module name: PMDG_737NGX.DLL, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4f5162a3

Exception code: 0xc0000005

I do not have uiautomationcore.dll installed anywhere, should I install it?

I use a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Throttle Quadrants and Rudder Pedals. I just installed the yoke/throttle today with the saitek drivers, and right after, fsx started crashing on start up with the NGX dll file.

Any clues to what happened? Thanks in advance!

Do you have FSUIPC installed? I just completed a new build and the first plane I installed was the NGX, which crashed everytime I ended a flight. I then installed FSUIPC (registered version) and the sim behaves beautifully now.

Yes, I have FSUIPC registered version installed.

It might be a good idea to install uiautomationcore if it don`t work you can always un-install............

Thanks! I don't have uiautomationcore.dll in my main fsx folder, do you mean uninstall it from somewhere else?

Does it crash when you try to load the NGX ?

Yes, on start up - the NGX is my default aircraft.

Download, unzip and install this file into you main FSX folder.http://downloads.precisionmanuals.com/file_library/UIAutomationCore.zip.

You need to read the NGX Introduction Manual concerning default aircraft.

Never start with the NGX as the default aircraft.

Try first starting with the default trike and build a flight and see if it still crashes

I can see now that my suggestion should have included one more step. I unzip to a folder called Unzipped and then copy/cut and paste or run the installer to wherever it goes. Thanks.

Your quote makes it look like I have the NGX as the default aircraft.

Thanks for telling us it works. A lot of people only let you know that it didn't work.
