  1. *Problem has been solved*. I copied the dll.xml entry of bglmanx.dll (from AppData/Roaming) to the dll.xml in ProgramData. That worked!
  2. As for FSDT products, I have only installed FSDT JFK. I've been uninstalling and reinstalling, trying new solutions but nothing has really worked. I've also uninstalled the Level-D 767, and have also run a reg cleaner. I've probably exaggerated all of the options at this point so I guess I'll just go without the FSDT...
  3. Thank you for the detailed reply. I changed the disabled to True for bglmanx.dll, and the sim loaded properly. I then removed the LVLD.dll entry, and changed the bglmanx.dll back to False so it could load. Unfortunately, I still got the error..seems like the Level-D wasn't the culprit here. Could it be some corrupt installation with FSDT/bglmanx.dll issue?
  4. I checked my dll.xml and bglmanx.dll was already the first entry for addons. Also, I have installed ASN. Here's my dll.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Addon Manager</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>bglmanx.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FSUIPC 4</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>ObjectFlow</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>D:\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Scenery\ObjectFlow_P3D.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>Level-D Simulations</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>Modules\LVLD.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>as_connect</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>as_srv\as_btstrp.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> I've also tried removing everything but the bglmanx entry in the dll.xml, but the same error still persists.
  5. Already have done that as well, and still the error persists. Could it be something directly related to simconnect?
  6. Thanks for the reply. I do not have ASN currently installed though. This problem also is with the QW 757, (uses bglmanx).
  7. Hello Everyone, I have just done a fresh reinstall of Prepar3D v3.2 (lastest version, Academic) on Windows 10. After installing the FSDreamteam KJFK, I got this error on startup related to the dll they use for couatl/addon manager : http://prntscr.com/apvs3t It has been coming up ever since. I uninstalled the FSDT product and everything worked fine afterwards. How can I fix this error? I cannot even get in to the simulator with this. It seems to me that many of my problems are caused by this bglmanx/addon manager stuff... I have the latest version of FSUIPC installed. Thank you!
  8. Hello, I installed FSDT KIAH and on the startup of P3D 3.1, this error came up : http://prntscr.com/9okbqz The sim just exits out after I press ok. I don't really know what it means so a fix would definitely be appreciated... -FSDT KIAH was installed as admin -I downloaded latest addon manager and installed as admin (is also the first entry in dll.xml) -P3D is running as admin -No Antivirus blocking anything -The 3 simconnects ARE installed Anybody know what's going on? Thanks
  9. Thank you so much for the detailed help and explanation! I tried the fix and so far, all is well and the sim is running fine. Let's hope this fix is permanent! I really appreciate it
  10. Hello everyone, For the past month or so, I haven't been able to complete a single flight on my sim (FSX). Sometime during the middle of the flight, my monitors black out and then I get a message saying that the Nvidia drivers have crashed/stopped working and has recovered. The sim becomes a black screen and the only thing i can do is press the close button to exit the sim. I've looked online for many fixes including uninstalling a certain windows update, using a microsoft "fix it" program to fix the registry, reinstall the latest drivers, and so on. I haven't been able to fix the problem so far...it's pretty annoying not being able to complete a flight :/ Does anybody know of any other fixes to this issue? Thank you all. Specs: i5-4670k 3.4GHZ MSI GTX750ti 2GB 8GB RAM FSX Acceleration
  11. Hi, I've tried to open up FSX 5 times and each time during the startup splashscreen, the sim has a fatal error and crashes. Here's the error in event viewer : Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: dinput.DLL, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bd9c0 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00016aa9 Faulting process id: 0x19c8 Faulting application start time: 0x01d10d08bfab689c Faulting application path: D:\FSX\fsx.exe Faulting module path: C:\windows\system32\dinput.DLL Report Id: 7845ba4a-78fc-11e5-9626-e840f297d3a1 How can I fix this? Thanks!
  12. Hello, I recently purchased and installed Drzewiecki Design's New York Airports X, which includes JFK, LGA, EWR and 3 other smaller airports. When I loaded up at night at KEWR, I noticed the lighting for the taxiways, runways and aprons to be way too bright, and not look proper at all. Here's what I see from the "top-down" view of KEWR : http://prntscr.com/8sdya7 And here's how it looks from ground level : http://prntscr.com/8sdz11 Is there any way to fix this problem? I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed for my graphics card (750ti 2GB), and am running FSX Acceleration w/ FTX Global. Thank you!
  13. I'd love to see 39N (Princeton). I fly in there quite often!
  14. I just installed it into FSX, doesn't seem to work properly :(
  15. I've actually fixed it now, I think I switched the order with land classes. All of my problems are fixed now, I really appreciate your help! Thank you.
  16. Ok, I'll try that for the other airports - thank you! But there still is that problem with some payware sceneries where the elevation differs throughout the airport. This is what I'm seeing with ORBX's Sedona ; http://prntscr.com/7u61ve
  17. Ok, that helps. Another problem now...I have ORBX's KSEZ installed, and it also appears to have some elevation issues - it's not that taxiways aren't showing or anything, but some parts of the airport have different elevations. This is also the latest version, so is there anything that could be causing that? FTX Global and Vector are not installed.

  19. Thanks for the info - I actually just uninstalled Vector and Global, and the problem still seems to persist. The sceneries that are causing the problems are indeed addon sceneries that are freeware. The sceneries seem to work completely fine on my other computer which uses FSX, and the sceneries also used to work completely fine in P3D v2.
  20. Hello everyone, I've been having elevation issues with some airports in Prepar3D v2.5. I have ORBX FTX Global and FTX Global Vector installed, and I have ran the AEC program. An example of what I am seeing is here : http://prntscr.com/7u4jgt It appears that some aprons show up but the taxiway detail doesn't - just the lines show. I went to AEC to disable the airport but I found out that the airport was not listed at all. Is there any way I can fix this? Thank you!
  21. I have no Anti-virus running, UAC is turned off an P3D runs as an administrator already - anything else?
  22. Hello, When I try to access the scenery library within the sim, I get a message saying that the program was not able to read C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\scenery.cfg to write. I am not able to access my full scenery.cfg in my sim, I've looked for fixes already. My regional language setting is set to English (United States), the security has full control on the file...anybody else know what I can do? Thanks!
  23. Hello, I made a photoreal scenery for my local airport and in the sim, I am seeing some red spots around the white areas/buildings. I looked around the forum, saw something about deleting the null value in the inf file and then resampling it - I have done that, and it still doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  24. It works in P3D if you follow these steps : Install without EMT into FSX, and then copy all of the files/folders into P3D.
  25. Of course it changes the dll.xml, that enables it to get in your Addons bar in FSX. The entry should look like this: <Launch.Addon> <Name>Addon Manager</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>bglmanx.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> But getting back to the problem, I still wonder why it happens. All I know is that without using any addon manager products, the sim works fine then.
