Confirmed that it's addon manager. I uninstalled all FSDT and fixed up some files, and my sim is working - but then, I installed the standalone addon manager from the fsdt website - and now, it won't work.

Hello, I just did a clean install of FSX along with all of my addons, including FSDreamTeam KJFK and Quality Wings 757. I have seen many crashes about these two addons relating to the Addon Manager. When I load up the sim as an admin, I get no warning message - it simply quits to desktop. I tried many things, including uninstalling FSDreamTeam completely, deleting the Scenery/Facility folders in program data and removing the Shaders/Shaders10 folders. One thing to note is that when I install FSDT, I get an error message each time about my dll.xml "Error on line 1, position 46:". Does anyone have any tips? I haven't been able to fly yet after installing the FSDreamTeam scenery. Thanks!

That's good! Check the aircraft.cfg if the livery has a vc model.

Did you install liveries from the Maddog website? And the plane without VC, is that one with a livery made from Leonardo? If so, you need to edit the aircraft.cfg model for the vc to actually show up I think - I had the same problem

That is the 'EFIS MAP' set up - you can edit that in the FMC by going to PMDG SETUP, displays and change from EFIS/MAP to the regular style.

Yep, I have taxi signs at the default airports. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that. Which files would go in which folder?

Ok, thanks - I followed his instructions in the read me, and my aptsign.bmp has been in my texture folder.. Would anything in the fsx.cfg cause this? :/

Yes, I have my scenery complexity set to the highest setting - extremely dense. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here... usually I put the airport "RS" and "CVX" file into addon scenery/scenery. The obj file into scenery/global/scenery. Is that correct? I tried putting my settings down to normal and still, my taxiway signs are missing :/ Thanks!

Oh ok. All of the airports pretty much... I'm using a KCLT one right now w/o the taxiway signs for an example. I loaded up the bgl in ADE, and I found that taxiway signs were there. My scenery density slider is ALL the way up..and it still doesn't show!

I have a new issue now :/ When I go to the approach page...it loads up the approach for my origin airport and origin runway. Ex : I am flying JFK to MIA, and I took off of JFK's 4L. When I go to the approach ref page, I get the approach info for the ILS 4L at JFK, when I am supposed to be landing on the ILS 8R at MIA.

I moved them all to the right and the taxiway signs still didn't show for some reasons...I'm sure it has to do something with the OBJ file in the scenery/global/scenery

Hi, When I fly the 767, after climb, I see that my Approach page shows up when I press INIT REF. The thing is, it shows information for the approach to my departure airport and departure runway! Ex...I am flying JFK-BOS. I took off JFK 4L, and am climbing now. I selected 22L at BOS. The approach reference page shows information for the ILS 4L at JFK. What am I doing wrong? :/

Hello, Yesterday, I purchased the PMDG 777 from the PMDG website. I took it for a spin and activated it, but two things were not right. On the upper EICAS, there is a yellow message saying "LANDING ALTITUDE", and on the PFD, just above the altimeter display, it says LDG ALT in yellow. The other problem is on the exterior of the plane, as on the tail and APU, there seems to be lines hanging off with red triangles. Can some body please help me fix this? Hi, I was looking for a good A330/a340 for FSX but can't seem to find anything...the payware models don't seem to be good at all. I'm wondering if it's possible to merge some VC's to a freeware A330/340, such as Thomas Ruth. I currently have the Aerosoft Airbus X A320/321...is it possible to merge that VC to the TR A330/340? Thank you

Hello, I own 3 computers, which all have had fsx installed on them. One is a laptop, which doesn't run fsx too well. Recently, I bought the third one, and attempted to install fsx on it. The installing of fsx with the product code went fine without any issues. But when I attempted to activate Acceleration, I put in my product key, and it said that I had exceeded the number of activations. I went to the laptop and uninstalled acceleration on it, leaving just plain old FSX on the computer. Now, I only had fsx on 2 computers - this new one, and my main setup. Still, activation for acceleration did not proceed. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks!!!
