August 28, 201411 yr Just to check? I presume you have assigned a joystick button for the microphone in MCE, or are using the Del key, per ATC setup in MCE? When holding down the mike button (or Del key), you should hear a high note sound. Also ensure your call sign is set the same in both RC4 and MCE. Lastly, try an airport with Clearance Delivery (CD), and request clearance as follows: E.g "clearance delivery, [call sign] request clearance as file to xxxxxxx" Hope these checks help? Stuart
August 28, 201411 yr Have you dialed the right freq in the comm1? After you have pushed the del key/button and hear that sound, wait a sec and then say "clearance delivery, callsign, request ifr clearance to xxxx (destination airport (most will work like echo hotel alpha mike)) wait a sec again and then release key/button. That works for me Some airports have no CD but starts with "ground" John Cramer
