fsx.cfg 2d default

Featured Replies

Does anybody rememeber which line in fsx.cfg opens a 2d cockpit by default? I need to edit the cfg file, not change it in GUI.

Thanks,

Dirk.

Wouldn't you make the change in the aircraft.cfg?

This would be normally done in Settings/Customize/Aircraft , but can be done

in the FSX.cfg also.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Wouldn't  just be easier  to change it  in the fsx settings   from 3d  to  2d or visa versa

Great, I need this for my FSX Go (orbx) profile.

Something else I've noiticed:

UNITS_OF_MEASURE=0  - how does the switch 0/1 work? The regional standards are picked up from [iNTERNATIONAL] section. What does this line affect?

Thanks,

Dirk.
