I think he's referring to Spook, however, since Spook is a FE Beta tester I fully understand him thinking that his baby is the best. In all honesty, I would too!!! :-) After all, do we not ALL think that our babies are the most beautiful in the world?Regards,Mike T.

I'll be the first one to say I dont like all the clouds in FE2004, but, I will say that I dislike more of the clouds in fssw, I tried that while I was beta testing for FE, before that I used FSW clouds, they looked fine and my comp didnt choke on them. Since I was testing several cloud textures a day for 7 months with FE, I got to see clouds differently, even when I was outside, I started looking at clouds differently, before they were just puffy things in the sky, I didnt know cumulus from stratus from cirrus, ect. There are a few clouds in FSSW that I do like but only maybe 2, FE has more sets I like and I think they look more natural and real then most in FSSW.So, yes, I do feel FE looks better then 98% of the FSSW sets, and I do have a bit of attachment to it because I spent so long with it, but I think peter will agree, I am not jumpping on the FE bandwagon simply because I was a tester, many many many times I told him I didnt like what I saw.

I wish I could subject you to a test of "blind wine tasting". In other words tasting wine without knowing which bottle it came from - looking at clouds without knowing who made them. The results might surprise you. But this thread is getting boooring ...Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

I just wonder how you couldn't see the wingtips with the strobes flashing and/or the glow from the light of pax windows. I've never been in that black a night but I hasten to agree that night modeling leaves much to be desired in the sim world...and it ain't that much better...if at all...in the Flight Safety sims I've been in...because there would be no point in spending any money to accomplish that "eye candy" anyway.Regards,Jim
