October 1, 201411 yr Yes Stuart, it has worked with P3D since P3D version 1.4 if I remember correctly. MCE has fully supported P3D version 2 from its release as well. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
October 1, 201411 yr Commercial Member Does MCE work with Prepar3D? As confirmed by Will, it does, even with latest V2.4 having said that, if you only installed P3D recently, I mean after installing MCE, you will need to re-install MCE. That's because some files need to be copied to \Prepar3D V2\ folder Should have fsInsider.dll and <MCE dlls> folder in \Prepar3D V2\ installation folder No P3D files are modified, not even "aircraft.cfg" or "panel.cfg" files. Next, run the MCE wizard to make sure "dll.xml" is edited to include reference to "fsInsider.dll". Should be good to go thereafter. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
October 1, 201411 yr Author Thanks guys. I don't actually have P3D at the moment, but am struggling with FSX performance and was wondering whether to go down the P3D route. If you already use P3D, then what is your experience re performance verses FSX and compatibility with FSX addons generally. Cheers Stuart
