FSX - PMDG 777-200LR - PFPX Please help!

Anyone that could help please feel free to e-mail also [email protected]

I have FSX and PMDG 777-200LR which I love and after learning how to flight through some videos on youtube. (Thank you) I was able to make a couple of flights. I notice that now every time that I load the plane and the flight plan from PFPX even that it is IFR the comunication page on the FSX is showing as if it was VFR and I don't know how to change it.

I try to open the flight plan and safe it as IFR again and nothing. Please help!

Thank you in advance for your kind and prompt answer

Welcome to the forum, please note pinned topic regarding requirement for full names here. Thanks.

Ignore FSX flight plan, it is not used by PMDG aircraft. PFPX exports a PMDG flight plan to whichever options you select including PMDG and you use the FMS to load the flight plan.  See also COROUTES in the Introduction document.

The only thing that the FSX plan is used for is to communicate the route to ASN weather. Even in this case, FSX planning is ignored.

Thank you for your answer but what I want to get clears etc and if the PFPX doesn't generate a properly code IFR plan it is consider a VFR. For some reason I was able to do it before the update, after the last update is that I find that problem

I've pretty much quit helping folks that don't follow forum rules after being asked to do so... and not sure I can help if you are using FSX ATC. There are much better ways to include ATC in your flight simming.

Know how you feel, Dan and you have indeed been a great help as I've followed your responses for years.
