October 14, 201411 yr Question for the XPX guru's: I am slowing getting into XPX but for the life of me I cannot seem to quite understand how I am getting better performance out of the sim with the 32 bit application vs the 64bit application? Is this normal? Is there something I am not doing which is causing this? If I understand correctly, 64 bit allows for larger memory usage by the app which would be required as the 3rd party apps pile on. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."
October 14, 201411 yr Hi there Not sure what's going on with your system (unless you're still on Windows XP or something). To be honest I wouldn't waste too much time pondering, 32-bit is more or less dead.
October 14, 201411 yr I think maybe its not much of a performance change as a vast improvement in memory intensive situations. Regards
