October 23, 201411 yr That's all. It did not always start on its own and I really prefer that it not start unless it is needed. I thought someone had already posted about this but could not find it. Thanks for help Neal H Neal Howard
October 24, 201411 yr By making sure that you remedy the errors it is displaying, the only time the window opens automatically is if there is an error message. Cheers, Andy.
October 24, 201411 yr If you don't want to start it with FS, then remove the line in FSUIPC,ini "[Programs] RunIf1=CLOSE,F:\Prepar3D v2\Modules\linda.exe" (according to your paths, of course) If you use LINDA probably just for your airliners, you can use programs like simStarter which can start with different profiles. So you can tell them to start VFR without LINDA and IFR with LINDA as example ... October 25, 201411 yr Author Thanks to both of you. There is always one error about a COM port not opening (my fsx pc is turned off so I cannot quote). I no longer use the MCP Combo 2 but LINDA is perfect for joystick/throttle buttons assignments. With two Saitek throttle quadrants, LINDA lets me program 36 actions using the press/release capability. Except for programming the flight, that is enough to get a Majestic Q400 from C/D to ready for takeoff and still have buttons to spare. I only want to stop the console. Love LINDA Neal Howard
October 25, 201411 yr Disable the MCP combo options in Linda, there is a tick box, remove the Tick and it should stop the error. Cheers, Andy.
