October 28, 201411 yr Bonjour, I am new to TOPCAT and 737NGX, and I was wondering why the Mac% differs between them. Finally I realized that when we enter the number of passengers in the FMC, there is an algorithm, which distributed them into the 3 stations in a random manner. For example if we enter several times the same number of passengers, the FMC CG position is never the same. So as this dispatch is not known and is not accessible through FSX variables, there is no chance to have the same MAC % between TOPCAT and the FMC. Just want to know if somebody can confirm this. Merci Best regards Claude Claude Troncy
October 29, 201411 yr Commercial Member Just want to know if somebody can confirm this. The 737 versions in TOPCAT were made from the original FS9 PMDG version, I believe. See here for how to get everything to work in tandem: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/417842-topcat-pfpx-737ngx-weights-how-to/ Kyle Rodgers
October 29, 201411 yr Author Bonjour Kyle. First... thank you for your answer. I had already read this topic (TopCat + PFPX + 737NGX / Weights (How To)) but it is not very clear to me, concerning the MAC %. Could you please, if you have a moment, enter in the FMC, several times, the same number of passengers, with the same distribution between first and coach class, and tell me if you always obtain the same MAC %. Merci Best regards Claude Claude Troncy
October 31, 201411 yr Distribution of PAX in Topcat and NGX is different, for one the NGX distributes pax a bit randomly, for the other, the actual size and location of loading sections is different. --Peter Fabian
October 31, 201411 yr Author Bonjour Peter, That was also my conclusion, but I wanted to be sure as there was some people making specific configuration files in TOPCAT for the NGX. In fact there is no chance to have them synchronized concerning the MAC % Best regards Claude Claude Troncy
