October 31, 201411 yr I searched online before posting this so it wouldn't be a repeat, forgive me if it's on here somewhere. For over a year, the PMDG777 has been working perfect for me. Suddenly the last few flights, it's not pausing at the TOD. I double-checked that it's set to "on" in the settings, which it is. Any idea why it's suddenly continuing at cruising altitude and not pausing? Thanks in advance!
October 31, 201411 yr Commercial Member Any idea why it's suddenly continuing at cruising altitude and not pausing? Are you sure you're selecting STARs (or setting altitudes lower than your cruise somewhere) such that it can generate a top of descent? In order to calc a top of descent for it to pause at, it has to know when to descend. Without a STAR or a lower altitude to hit, it can't (on the 744, it was a little more obvious because it was show a "NO TDZE" warning on the PFD (meaning it didn't have descent information as a part of having an end altitude to descend to). October 31, 201411 yr Commercial Member I found that was happening also if I didn't have an arrival runway entered. I don't remember that happening though in the RTM. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
