November 5, 201411 yr I just use the freeware CCCleaner occasionally to clear temp files etc from the browser cache/OS temp. It does have a built in registry cleaner but I go through each entry manually first before removing anything. I think it does its little bit to keep my PC running efficiently. November 5, 201411 yr Moderator Strange - tried 3 or 4 times to post a message but nothing shows. Anyway, one more time - hope Rob's comment about 4K monitors is correct as I have one on the way. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 6, 201411 yr I know it's not as sharp due to the DSR upsampling/downsampling, but in theory, it would be the same? No ... there's no substitution for pixel count. However depending on your distance to the monitor the size of the monitor can emphasize or mask AA ... meaning 3 feet in front of a 49" 4K monitor would look better (in terms of pixel density and masking AA) vs. 3 feet in front of a 65" monitor. That's where you are playing the pixel density to view distance game. When 8K becomes "mainstream" (this is about 10 years or less away) I think we'll be able to do away with AA completely. Cheers, Rob.
