November 12, 201411 yr I am thinking about going to P3D. I have searched the forum and from what I can see you must pay for the updates. I do not see any kind of prices. November 12, 201411 yr What I saw some confusion about, is the difference between update patches within the same version and the upgrade to a new version. In other words, for example from patch 2.3 to 2.4, or from version 2.x to 3.x. It's the same as FSX did, any update patches within the same version, so 2.3 to 2.4, for example, are free. But when you want the upgrade from version 2.x to version 3.x, you have to buy a new package. Cheers! Maarten

November 12, 201411 yr In all probability, when there's a completely new upgrade, yes, we'll have to pay for it...as in v 1.4 to 2.0 - but that may be sometime.........enjoy v2.4 until a completely new version arrives, then decide if you want to upgrade or now.
