I would be grateful for your advice please.

 

On installing FS2Crew 777, the install says that it was 'successful', then when I exit I get a dialogue that says:

 

PMDG777 NOT FOUND:

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\MicrosoftGames\Microsoft Flight SimulatorX\PMDG\PMDG777X\777X_Options.ini

 

Is this by implication a problem despite the earlier 'Successfully Installed' message? What do you suggest please?

Either:

 

1. You don't have the PMDG 777 host aircraft installed.

 

Or, more likely:

 

2. You have the 777 aircraft installed, but you're not running FSX with Admin rights.

 

The result is that the PMDG 777 cannot create (and save) the Options.Ini file after you load the 777.

 

Always run FSX with Admin rights to avoid write permission issues like this.
