May 4, 200521 yr Thanks for all your replys everyone.Sounds like it is a winner.I was thinking of buying ActiveSky 4.5 but with a new version on the way paying twice doesn't seem too smart. So as much as I would love to buy the Kingair now I guess I'll have to wait for V2 as well. Thanks Steve
May 4, 200521 yr The CTD issue IS being addressed by Aeroworx. There is an update, v2, which is due to be released in the not too distant future that will solve this problem.Michael VerlinHistoric Jetliners Group
May 4, 200521 yr Steve I just took and passed my SIC 135 ride yesterday for a Medivac company which flys 200's. I had never flown a KingAir of any type until I started training in this one. The Aeroworx 200 made me look like I new what I was doing (even though I didn't, lol) All the other pilots in my class have considerably more time than I, but I ended up ready for the checkride first. The Aeroworx model is the only one I fly (for obvious reasons) You can't go wrong, I'm sure that if you got a copy today that the update will be free when it comes out. BTW I have not had any problems with CTD's. There are a few minor issues IMHO, but it sounds like they're working them out. Good luck B Bjorkman
May 4, 200521 yr Actually, the CTD is fixed. I had it from the very beginning and worked with Henning on it. For me it turned out to be a missing font in Windows, believe it or not.Head on over to the Aeroworx site and their forum. Ask Henning about the needed file. Given his helpfulness, I'm sure he will get you set. Mike
May 4, 200521 yr Congrats B Bjorkman! I fly medical configured King Air B200s as well. We have 2 with the Lifeport modification and 1 in a corporate configuration we use to haul around organ procurement doctors. The B200 is a great airplane..you will really enjoy flying it..Regards..Chris
May 4, 200521 yr It's being addressed??? How long has it been "addressed" for? When exactly did the airplane first come out? And about the font, which font do you need installed for it to not crash?
May 4, 200521 yr Aeroworx King Air ?Highly recommended. I have flown in this baby's little brother (or is it sister) a B90 and sat in a B200 IRL (while trying not to drool)Let me tell you, they have modeled the exterior better than any other payware or freeware aircraft I have ever seen. Cockpit is also a beautiful sight to behold. And the sounds are very nice inside of the aircraft sim. There's also a virtual cabin, if you want to sit and watch the flight on autopilot for a while. Really I would say this is the best GA turboprop available - I have used the Conquest and bought the FSD Cheyenne - blows the doors in on both of these payware add-ons easily.regards,Kelly
May 4, 200521 yr Author I believe the V2 upgrade for the B200 is free to current owners. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
