Your thoughts on the Aeroworx Kingair B200

I am interested in purchasing a new addon and wondering what you think ?Virtual cockpits are very important to me. Does this aircraft have a clickable VC ?Thanks Steve

Highly recommended:-)

The VC is one of the best in terms of quality and gauge update rates on my computer. I'm a stickler for smooth instrument response and the B200 is one of the best. I can hand fly approaches from the VC.Bob... :)P4 3.8ghzRadeon 800XL Pro

Superb plane but a bit of a frame rate killer on my P4 2.4 9800pro. Works well with Reality XP gauges too.John

Very good. And expect v 2.0 sometime this summer according to Henning over at Aeroworx. Mike

Absolutely recommend. I almost always regret it when my add-on purchase is NOT heavy-iron. However, with the aeroworx king air, I found that I was very pleased. Of my smaller aircraft, this is one I keep coming back to.

Hi Steve,The Aeroworx King Air B200 is one of my top five for most realistic simulation of a real aircraft in MSFS. The VC is clear, has a usable gauge update rate, wonderful sound package and well laid out (and written) manual. You won't be disappointed and the update planned for later this year will only improve on what is close to perfect now.Have fun flyin'Zane

Simply one of the finest add-ons in existence.

Checkout my link below as I am using this aircraft to fly around the world!!You can also check the reviews:http://www.simhq.com/_air3/air_112a.htmlI think there's one here at AVSIM too, plus lots of review in their forum at:www.aeroworx.comThe VC is nice, and is clickable.Hope this helps,

Hey Steve...I'm a King Air B200 pilot in real life and I've had the great fortune of getting to know Henning and the Aeroworx project. I can tell you without reservation that the Aeroworx B200 is absolutely top notch. From the systems, panels, cockpits, sounds..they really got it right. The SimHQ article I wrote has some great side-by-side photographs and screenshots of the real thing vs. the Aeroworx model and it really is astounding.http://www.simhq.com/_air3/air_112a.htmlVersion 2.0 is coming soon (I've been giving some technical input on it) and you will be very impressed.Regards...Chris "BeachAV8R" Frishmuth

>>Version 2.0 is coming soon (I've been giving some technical>input on it) and you will be very impressed.>It would be very, very nice if Ver 2.0 (or 3.0) would include the Honeywell Primus cockpit (if I recall right), the way current B200s are delivered.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

It would be nice if they fixed the CTD when quitting as well!! I haven't flown the plane since because of this annoying issue. If that was fixed, it would be almost perfect

While I would conceed that a CTD isn't exactly the best way to end a Flight Simulator session (though it doesn't happen to me) I can't understand why you would NOT fly a plane if you can tool around in it for hours only because it CTDs when you are quitting the sim (thus done flying anyway?) ;) BeachAV8R

Because I get the CTD all the time, not just quitting, when I use add-on repaints. I put it in the hanger waiting for a patch, but it looks like they really don't care, and since then I've found other things to enjoy my time in. I was planning on installing it again looking for an update but it disappointed me there wasn't one.
