April 30, 200521 yr I've been working my way south in the FS2004 world lately, and ever since I left Key West and on through the islands of the Caribbean, and now Colombia and Ecuador, I keep hearing ATC giving directions to a callsign/GA registration? aircraft referred to as "Echo-Sierra-Echo".Who or What the heck is "Echo-Sierra-Echo"?I've got an enormous amount of addon AI flights and aircraft, both airline and GA, however after examining all the flight source files (I'm very familiar with configuring and compiling AI flights using TTools), I can find no references to
April 30, 200521 yr I'm guessing you're well past losing your flightsimming mind :-badteeth Perhaps you could track down the callsign in editvoicepack? If it's being used for an airline then it may appear there.
April 30, 200521 yr Did you ever install the AI "Geese"? I did, and afterwards noticed this same ESE callout by ATC. I have tried to track the callsign too. If anyone finds out for sure I'd be glad to know. Regards, Bob.
April 30, 200521 yr THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-wave :-jumpy :( :-shy :-cool :-hah THANKY YOU!!!! THANKY YOU!!!! THANKY YOU!!!! THANKY YOU!!!!Yes, I have AI Geese installed, and yes, I just checked the flightplans code and they are all IFR with the registration "GEESE". THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! And easy enough to fix.Okay, getting my mind back now. :-) Hmmmmm. Flying IFR? Is that how geese really do it? :-hmmm -- Walt

April 30, 200521 yr Here in the states we have the dainty Monarch butterfly that migrates from as far north as Chicago to southern Mexico. I'm pretty sure that's IFR. ;-) "Foxtrot-Lima-Yankee"??-- Walt
September 16, 201015 yr Thanks for solving this, I was irritated with that Echo Sierra Echo callsign every where everytime to the point of switching ATC off (flying in pacific northwest). As soon as ESE was handed off there it was again! Let me see if I can solve it now (geese hunting season is now open). Best, Alex Rui Laureano Lisboa, Portugal
September 16, 201015 yr As a slight twist to the post - as we are discussing ATC.Can anyone advise me on how to troubleshoot the ATC sound with the Wilco A400M fsx package. 1. The aircraft/engine sounds are set WAY too loud or too high a volume. The sounds are good sounds, just the volume to too loud.2. I have the Sounds Setting Slider all the way left on "0".3. I actually have 3 of the 4 sliders on ZERO, with the Voice slider set at about 80% and yet the engine sounds override the ATC voice to where it is still a pain in the butt to use.Any ideas on which files to check or replace for testing? Wilco support is almost nothing.Thanks.RayM When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
