November 29, 201411 yr Hi Everyone I have been simming many years and never experienced the dreaded BSOD until today and never really followed the threads about it as I had no need to. I have had OOM issues from time to time but can usually manage that successfully. I was 2hr into a flight between KJFK and CYVR flying the PMDG B77W. I last night installed the FSDT KJFK V2 and was wondering if that is likely to have anything to do with it or is it simply an unlucky coincidence? Am I likely to regularly see this now - any thoughts? Obviously I was well away from KJFK when the error occurred. Any comments or information about this would be appreciated. November 29, 201411 yr Not likely. But if you are concerned, download AppCrashView from here: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html. If you get a blue creen again, this nifty little tool can tell you exactly what caused it. November 29, 201411 yr The AppCrashView program will probably not show anything about the crash. BSOD's are different animals. On page 2 of the AVSIM CTD Guide, there is a link to BlueScreenView which provides more details about the crash as well as the drivers or modules that caused the crash. The CTD Guide link is located to the right of this forum under Hot Spots. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
