  1. Thought it was just me. I disabled ASOBO but still did not work. Maybe uninstall and reinstall might.....
  2. Yes. I had this last week when I saw this in South America and was resolved by reinstalling ORBX base, as suggested by ORBX.
  3. My sim folder for example is: E:\FSX Microsoft default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight simulator X
  4. Its quite simple actually. Once you search within the sim folder, your sim, FSX for instance, it should populate anything related to eg,..KSFO regardless of its location. Click on 'TYPE' on the top window so fsx puts the files in their perspective order and locate the bgl in question. It should be easy to identify based on where its installed..for any files that is NOT in the location that you want active, just deactivate it by renaming the file name by adding .old to it. (eg., KSFO.bgl.old). If there are no 3rd party scenery and the scenery was upgraded with a newer AFCAD you should be able to do the same. NOTE: This is not the holly grail answer, but this does work for me. Best of luck
  5. Looks like two different airport scenery's are overlapped and fighting for dominance. My guess is you have a default and a 3rd part scenery enabled. Do a search for the airport .bgl file in your Sim folder and see if both are active. Example, San Francisco is (KSFO.bgl). If this is the case you might want to disable the one you don't want.

  7. According to: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windows/how-fix-ntoskrnlexe-bsod-3613143/ The ntoskrnl.exe BSOD is usually related to memory. In this case could be bad RAM or from overclocking. Its summer which means higher temperatures could cause overheating. If CPU is working overtime without good ventilation then you could have heat issues. You should try reducing clock temp. and maybe even swapping mem sticks.
  8. Jim I will try this later. I didn't try before because I wasn't sure what exactly FSX might do to my current settings. As of now, its not a huge deal since FSX is responding well so I might wait a bit. I just thought there might be a way to extract a file from the disk or from a backup when I installed ORBX GLobal. Thanks for all you help.
  9. Exactly! And it covers the remaining earth view as I zoom out further as seen here: https://s19.postimg.org/8dewz60cz/fsx_top_down.jpg
  10. DIsable PNW and try again. This always works for me
  11. Anyone else has any ideas how I can fix this?
  12. Ok I followed this procedure, but still no go. Thanks for all you help by the way. Would you happen to know where this specific file is located in FSX? Perhaps I can take a look inside there to see what the condition of it is. Maybe something missing or corrupted. I should have mentioned that I have ORBX FTX Global along with some of the regions as well as UTX USA and Canada. I reinstalled these but none of those helped. I've also disabled temporarily UTX and FTX regions to see if this helps, but still unresolved.
  13. Haven't tried rebuilding scenery cache yet but have rebuild shaders. I have tons of addons - GSX, REX texture direct, PFPX, Topcat, VFXCentral, DX10 fixer, EZDOC..lots of 3rd party scenery and aircraft. ASN and Pro-ATC/X on client PC. All function just fine. Whats the best way to rebuild scenery cache?
  14. I seem to have messed something up and not entirely sure how. I installed Avast to do some cleaning and this occurred. https://s19.postimg....y1f/fsx_top.jpg,https://s19.postimg....y1f/fsx_top.jpg. I have since uninstalled Avast and is unable to undo what was done, if it in fact caused the problem. Its the only problem I have so far in FSX and don't know how to resolve it. Perhaps someone here with knowledge knows which file is missing and how to replace it. I'm running FSX Accelerator on Win7 64. At this point I rather not reinstall since its the only issue I'm having. FSX functions just fine. Thanks in advance.

  16. Really great new Robert. Though I'm hoping that I can take the Queen into the skies before I start Grad school on Aug 22nd. My mentors told me I wouldn't have time for much after that.
  17. Yes it is! ....They do this often which is GREAT!....And I wish others would follow (FSDT)
  18. Was previously done, but doubled check and the OC is set to pass through. I usually have these turned off anyways when running FSX
  19. Mike, yes I have the latest: http://s19.postimg.org/69dqq9leb/PMDG_T7_ver.jpg I also have lots of downloads from Avsim which I enjoy. In fact I also have all the paints from PMDG which I downloaded from the OC and saved to my hard drive before the OC stopped functioning properly. The problem I face now is, upon the release of the 747 V3. I'm expecting to buy the product but I'm certain that if the liveries are only available through the OC then I'm s**t out of luck.
  20. Same here. Still did not resolve anything!
  21. Oh Dang!!!! Looks great
