December 3, 201411 yr RAF Prestwick closed... It's now only royal Navy and that's looking a grim future too... In addition I'm struggling to sense to buy it as you're lucky to have 1 or 2 commercial flights a day... (Bar cargo) I find it's more realistic with statics off (ghost town)...
December 3, 201411 yr Author Great work WingZ….love your An-124 and chopper traffic. :Applause: Prestwick is good for flying the more varied types of aircraft that I like. An-12, Il-76, An-124, B-742F, L-1011. Just search the airport on a.net and choose your steed. B) P.S You don't HAVE to fly your sim in 2014 btw. My FS Videos
December 3, 201411 yr They forgot to model the rat infestation in the tower or fire station :O... In all seriousness I would have purchased straight away a few years ago but with the way it is now it's a shame really that the management have essentially run it into the ground, what they really need is an experienced management team brought in to push it forward with some major investment.
December 3, 201411 yr That sense of neglect was one of the things I really liked about the scenery. It gives it a certain character that sets it apart from many other sceneries. And given that Prestwick has always been a convenient refueling place for itinerant transatlantic aircraft you can put together some AI traffic that will provide the occasional surprise. And as was stated above, you don't always have to fly in the current calendar period. It's all a matter of taste of course, but I really like this scenery.... Cheers Ian
December 4, 201411 yr I like it too. It does have character, unlike a lot of the mega-hubs that are really quite bland. I also am happy to support Gary as he still produces scenery for FS9 of the highest quality. Graeme Butler
