CRJ 200/700/900 ?

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Does anyone know of a realistic CRJ, to include the FMS? I have not been able to find anything of value in regards to this aircraft.

Thanks!

Aerosoft should be releasing one in the somewhat near future, though it has been in development for a long time. You might take a look at their preview forum for some screen shots etc.

The Aerosoft will be a CRJ-700/900. It apparently is entering beta testing now, but I'm not holding my breath. There is a CRJ-200 that is also in development, search 'CRJ-200X' on Facebook to see their page. Unfortunately, though, at this point the only payware CRJ that has been released is the Wilco version. It is available from it's original release with the -200, -700, and -900, or the upgraded 'Next-Gen' version with the -700 and -900. I've heard that the Next-Gen version is awful. As for the original, I have it, and it should be avoided like the plague.

For now, I'd look into the Majestic Software Q400. It operates missions similar to the -700, operates at near-jet speeds, and is considered one of the finest FS aircraft ever produced. It might keep you occupied while you wait for the Aerosoft/CRJ-200X aircraft to be released.

I asked Aerosoft about any news on their CRJ; there response was rather rude. I only asked if the CRJ would have prepared3D V2 compatibility, my estimate is that it will come out sometime within 2015; but I could be wrong.

The quote system can take a little getting used to, but you should probably edit your post so your opinions are not ascribed to the person you are quoting.

Anyway, the Aerosoft CRJ looks nice but I'll be waiting till they show a willingness to release updates for the inevitable issues in a timely fashion. Perfect releases are few and far between and at the rate they are developing the CRJ I am concerned support for it would be just as drawn out.

I really have no clue how to use the quote system

Sorry, all...

Ok, just seeing if this is how you quote. I was on the mobile version and quite honestly it is very confusing. Besides my obvious failures to learn how to quote I completely agree with your statement.

hah, no worries I understand. I used to get the formatting on quotes so tangled up I would eventually delete the whole thing in frustration and start over. You'll get used to it.
