After looking through the Appcrash views there are two fault mods including a terrain.dll and the MV_WX.dll, so I guess I will just need to delete that from the sim. But what about that terrain.dll? I’m only running default scenery.

The Lear is, according the the developers, a 64bit compatible addon. Let me check what errors I get, I have not looked into that yet. Thank you for the reply!

Guys, Besides the term CTD sounding like some venereal disease, It absolutely pains me to say this, but my sim just keeps crashing. I thought my issue was a bad GPU one so I went out and got a brand new 10 series 8Gb video card I, hundred of dollars later, my sim keeps crashing without warning when I run the Lear or any jet for that matter. It just coughs and dies without and error message. It’s an absolute shame cause it’s my favorite aircraft. On every flight I run my task manager, and I am no where near out of memory or really pushing my rig at all. I am completely confused. I completely wiped my sim and upgraded to P3D V4.3 in hopes to fix the problem. Do you guys have any advice? All I am running is the Flysim Lear/GTN, and ASN for v4. Everything else is default. I am very confused. And thank you all very much for the time in answering my questions. Ok, so I just joined a part 141 flight school to wrap up my instrument license and I have been flying a 172R so I thought it would be a good idea to get A2As 172R cause everyone's crazy about it. I jump in the plane on the sim and nothing works. I go into the maintenance hangar and everything is broken and I can't fix anything. Some people have had the same problem and they all say the solution is installing simconnect. I honestly have no clue what simconnect is or how to install it! Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm in P3D V3! Wait I figured it out I think. I went into the P3D V3 redist thing, found the bottom one that said Fsx-SP2... Ok, I figured it out, I'm an idiot. Idk why I didn't think of this before I went through every other option in the book, but somehow the (use other controllers box) was unchecked. I bet my sister screwed around with it while she was sitting at my sim desk. Well, lesson learned, and once again...I am an idiot. Thank you all very much for helping me in my stupidity :-)!

I am totally confused. When I get in the sim none of the controllers works (and yet, it is verified on) and it even registers when I go into the control settings from the menu bar. Have you ever seen this before?

Hello, Last night I was flying a flight on the simulator and suddenly all my control stopped working and my hat switch(s) stopped working. I am flying in prepare3D V2.5. I use a Logitech Exteme 3D Pro joystick, Saitek rudder pedals, and a saitek pro flight yoke. I've tried restarting the sim several times, restarting the computer several times, and unplugging and repluging the USB ports to all three devices. What confounds me even further is whenever I going to the control settings to try and recalibrate them they still show up in the Sim directory, but they don't work. Because it's two different companies' joysticks that are not working I have to believe that it's the Sim's fault has anyone had this problem before and can anyone help me?

I just tried this, and still, the VC is completely messed up all the EFIS are black and none of the switches in the cockpit work. Thank you for the suggestion though!

I have that aircraft, yet in P3D the VC does not show up at all, I am using the migration tool in enabled mode yet it still doesn't work. Plz tell me if you know any way to fix this, I have tried at least 5 times.

Ok, thank you for the help and the info! Also, (hate to ask so many questions, but...) is it confirmed that the Just Google CRJ200X will be compatible with P3D V2? I can't find anywhere on the aerosoft website that says the CRJ X will be compatible with V2, but I'm going to guess that it is.

Does this entail that there will be another separate version of Perpar3D like P3D V1, and V2 are separate simulators. I guess I am asking, is this V3 going to be I direct update to our V2.X or will we have to purchase an entirely new simulator? Also, does anyone know if "V3" will be compatible with the thousands of dollars worth of addons made by third party companies for P3D V2? I know PMDG has said they will make updates. This update/new sim will clearly separate P3D from FSX (and that is probably a good thing) especially if it is in 64 bit. I doubt that Lockheed will tell us anything, but I can't help but wonder, and ramble on to you all.

Well, maybe a couple years down the line PMDG will come out with a 787. That is my only hope for a good 787. There is the Aerosim 787 which you might be able to port into fsx (haven't really heard much about it though). Best of luck to you! I am waiting like you are basically for the aerosoft CRJ.

Hello, I have been searching for a good CRJ addon for P3D, and my searching has come to no avail thus far. My first question I guess is, is there a way to get the default CRJ-700 from fsx into P3D without having fsx on your PC? I know there is a CRJ in P3D, yet it is only for AI purposes I guessed after I reviewed its .cfg files. My second question is more for aerosoft than the general public, and if you have any information it would be greatly appreciated (I've been waiting for this for 6 months now, LOL). When is/is the Aerosoft CRJ-700X ever going to get released? Also, is that aircraft even going to be compatible with P3D because the description on their website is slightly vague on the subject (when I say compatible I mean with P3D V2.X), and when I asked them directly they wouldn't answer the question saying it was still in "development" which gives me a little hope. Furthermore, I understand Aerosoft and DA have made a CRJ-700/900/1000 model, yet I haven't heard the best reviews on that aircraft, in fact I haven't heard any good reviews on the aircraft so I have chosen to not get that addon. If you have the CRJ from Aerosoft/DA and you like it; please tell me. Thank you all for considering my questions. The only reason I ask such menial questions, forgive me for doing so, is because I am relatively new to P3D, I am a rather young pilot, and the fact that I do not know personally, a single person who uses P3D. sincerely, Paul Robbins.

I have read it through twice, still never got the Feelthere ERJ-145 to work. But, I will read it a third time and see if I missed something during my first two readings.

I've been thinking about it, and I'm just scared of getting left out in the cold again, like I did with the ERJ-145 from Feelthere.But if you say it works well in 2.5 I will seriously consider it. Thank you for your help. Also, when using EMT, and you install aircraft like The ERJ-175/195 and the ERJ-145 do you just enable virtual FSX and just exit out or leave the program running?

In V2.5 or 2.4? Also, with or without EMT?
