launched (REX Soft Clouds used)

Featured Replies

Thanks for answering Brian.

I was just asking because the clouds are unusually dark, especially in those two overhead shots.

Active Sky NEXT was showing that it was snowing/raining in those clouds below me.  Wouldn't such clouds be dark since they are full of moisture?

Is that a stand alone or does it go in rex4.

thanks Ted Kiser

It is a stand alone product that can load on top of REX.    You will set your textures in REX4 then go set your clouds in REX Soft Clouds afterward.

Hi Brian, we're seriously considering also adding it to REX4 Texture Direct. Although it will still be a paid upgrade, people are asking for integration.

That would be great.  I can see where it is confusing to customers when REX4 already does clouds.   I think it would be a wise decision to integrate it as a DLC package for REX4.   It would certainly eliminate the questions that have been repeated a dozen times over already.   :)   If you guys do move to an integrated package will those of us who already bought the stand alone be able to integrate our copies into REX4 so we have a one stop shop?   And what happened to the extra downloaded content that existed in REX OD?  Is that just not a feature of REX4?

Yes, we will most definitely have to appease everyone that has already purchased. Our developers will need to figure out how to accomplish this.

And what happened to the extra downloaded content that existed in REX OD?  Is that just not a feature of REX4?

It's possible. We have to think through it all.

thanks Tim, this is what a lot of people were requesting, softer clouds. Bought it and looks great! If you can intergrate it in Rex, would be even better!
