December 26, 201411 yr I decided to buy myself a Christmas present tonight and got Simplates X Ultra. I had read some reviews that stated the charts provided by the program are outdated, but I wasn't overly concerned about that. However, after looking at several, I found that every one of them are current. Overall, I really like the program and am glad I got it. Ken

Ken That's great to hear, i would like to know how are you using the program ? On another computer or on a tablet ? Clinton Royston Fernandes. Vabb-Mumbai India.
December 26, 201411 yr Author I've got it on my laptop right now. I may move it to my FS computer at some point, but for now I'm going to leave it here.
December 26, 201411 yr I have the program on my computer. Whenever I buy a new airport, I print out such of the charts for that airport as I think I will need and I then file them alphabetically in folders. I have found that some charts appear to be fairly old. In the case of some airports, there are multiple charts for the same thing eg Airport Diagram, ILS approach for a particular runway etc. These multiple charts for the same thing vary in dates. For example, the Airport Diagram chart for Liverpool (EGGP) is in a 2013, 2012 and 2003 version. I don't know why a superseded chart is not removed from Simplates when a new one is published/issued. December 26, 201411 yr Author That is odd. You would think they would have something in the program to search out and replace the old with the new. Maybe they could make it an option, in case someone wanted both for some reason.
December 26, 201411 yr MSFS scenery doesn't exactly keep pace with ongoing construction in the real world. You're probably better off with older charts that match the scenery you're using.

December 29, 201411 yr Author I'm getting to the point I don't know where to post. One post I made in the FSX forum that was about something I did in FSX got moved to Hangar Chat. This post has nothing to do with FSX and it was moved to the FSX forum. Confused.
