January 2, 201511 yr There was a similar topic in the past (regarding jetmax and the pmdg 747) http://forum.avsim.net/topic/411719-programing-reverse-thrust-with-fsuipc/ You can ask perhaps the thread starter if he has found a solution.
January 2, 201511 yr Use FSUIPC to assign F1 to the reversers. The reverse functions on the throttle are buttons, they are not an axis. Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
January 2, 201511 yr Author There was a similar topic in the past (regarding jetmax and the pmdg Brilliant i'll check it out and let you know how i get on Vernon Howells
January 2, 201511 yr Author Hit another wall guys! I'm trying to assign the gear up and dn with my saitek lever! Does anyone know how to get around this because the gear isn't listed as a lever? Vernon Howells
January 2, 201511 yr I'm trying to assign the gear up and dn with my saitek lever! Registered FSUIPC: - go to the Axis Assignment tab - move your desired lever (click Rescan) - when detected, go right to the assignment part, where it says 'Set up to 10 ranges for action' - choose range no.1 for GEAR UP (Control sent where range entered) marking it (by moving the lever and clicking first FROM and then TO) somewhere between the most forward and the central position of your lever - then assign range no.2 for GEAR DOWN marking it between the centre and the most backward position of the lever - save and fly  BTW I use the same tab to assign reversers to my CH throttle quadrant's levers.
January 2, 201511 yr Author Ok got everything working now! And also having another problem! i have that Show Thrust Lever POS that blue ring on the N1 gauge, well thats not moving when i move my thrust levers and also if i move the TQ thrust levers the NGX thrust levers move aswell. This shouldn't be happening with A/T engaged my saitek lever before never done this can anyone help cheers Vernon Howells
January 2, 201511 yr Check your settings in the PMDG Make sure they are set to NEVER override the autothrottle there are a few other options in there play with them from the pmdg FMC go into simulation or aircraft i cant remember i'm pretty sure that's it Good Luck How do you like the TQ overall ? Jaime Horton
January 2, 201511 yr Author Hi thanks but thats not the issue, i can still move the thrust levers in the NGX even when its set to never! Vernon Howells
January 3, 201511 yr i think i had the same issue relates to fsuipc and the NGX so what i do is send the command direct to FSX and delete the fsuipc settings then set the axis is FSX i think this is an NGX issue with throttles Try it out Let me know Jaime Horton
January 3, 201511 yr Author Got a problem if i set it via FSX i don't get the full range of motion in the NGX thrust levers its like there not in sync how can i just the range Vernon Howells
January 3, 201511 yr Author Ok i found the problem! If you set each throttle lever to its each axis in FSUIPC, you can move the levers in the NGX with autothrottle on. If you then set both throttle levers to one axis in FSUIPC where they both move the same time, then you can't move the NGX levers with your thrust levers! Vernon Howells
January 3, 201511 yr Author Got another problem i have noticed my thrust levers don't return the NGX levers back fully to idle Vernon Howells
January 3, 201511 yr that has to be in the limits somewhere i run mine thru FSX and i set the sensitivity to full and Null zones to 0 i was having that issue as well hope you get it worked out Jaime Horton
January 3, 201511 yr Author I just reset the settings in FSUIPC and its alrite now lol I tried setting it through FSX but the levers werent in sync its was like the min and max need to be adjusted. Did you have that problem? Vernon Howells
January 3, 201511 yr all i have are problems hahahahah how do you like the jetmax TQ thou is it worth the money JHo Jaime Horton
