Hi guysSince I installed Ultimate Traffic I have noticed that the system that shows aircraft flying around my a/c is showing two images and associated text. I do not think that I have double vision(no I haven't had a drop all day). Any ideas to cure this minor but irritating problem.Whilst on this subject, how does one stop the default airlines being reported on ATC and still appearing at airports?Thanks in anticipation

in fs directorsceneryworldscenery there is a file traffic.bglthat contains the default AI. Move it to another location outside of the FS directory to save it and the default AI will not show up anymore. Or go to projectai.com and they have a default AI removal tool that will only remove the default commercial aviation but leave the GA

It definately sounds like a doubled up AI file. Either there are two of the same files, or the main file itself is buggered up. I'd recommend going to www.simforums.com and ask Flight1 support for help, sure they'd be glad to help you sort it out :>

In FS9 the original file is named traffic030528.bgl and it should be moved into another folder for safekeeping. In FS9 traffic.bgl is the file named by UT version 2. You are allowed in FS9 to have multiple traffic files so unless you have used other traffic utilities or downloaded by you traffic.bgl produced by UT should be the only one.You can in FS9 use multiple traffic files named trafficxxxx.bgl but you should insure there are not common flight plans in each otherwise you could get conflicts or doubling.As an example, I found the cargo flightplans in UT weak, so I recompiled without them and installed seperate fedex and airborne plans and ai from projectai sand various download libraries. I did not exclude the UT passenger plans during the UT compile.

Thanks for your help guys. I went to the scenery/world/scenery and sure enough, there were duplicate traffic .bgl files. Renamed the one called traffic_PAI.bgl to traffic_PAI.lbg and everything is now OK.
