January 10, 201511 yr Author So I better stay with normal fsx and my addons.. mine is smooth.. it was a very long time ago I had a crash.. I will give it some more trys but First I need for the737ngx to get patched and then the rest of my addons. Captainsim 767 with the FTX Global line, REX, and 100 AI at Heathrow. Getting frames in the low twenties that dip into the teens in external and VC view. Definitely playable considering the whopping amount of AI I have to deal with. And it doesn't crash http://i.imgur.com/CLMS9Wu.png
January 10, 201511 yr I am now really sure about fsx-se being much (*) more stable than fsx gold, at least in as far as using it with PSX goes. Previously in long flights ( over 10 hrs ) if I started using time acceleration in PSX, with the necessary consequence of the scenery being flown rapidly across FSX, it would crash to desktop. With FSX-SE I can do whatever I want in PSX, and apart from the loading times of scenery when I change situations between different scenery areas, there is no crash in FSX SE! Then, I have successfully installed Steve's DX10Fixer, and I am getting better frame rates then I can remember having with FSX in similar scenery areas and flight situations, testing with the RealAir Duke, which of course is very optimized for good frame rates, but still, runs even smoother in FSX SE for me. I look fwd to be able to test ASN in FSX-SE :-), as well as PMDG's 777 ( * ) Quantification based on the # of crashes I had across several tests, vs FSX Gold Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
