January 9, 201511 yr Ok thanks, no dates on their webpage that I could see so didn't realize it was that new. Yes it's a strange one, it lists v1.6 on the C402's change list on the product page but there's no other news about it, and I'd normally get an email from them. So not sure if it is out. I bought it at Simmarket too, so again v1.5 is still the current version.

This was with the GNS530 version, I did not try the 750 version. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Bugs that I've noted from using v1.6 (#1 is a killer for me) ;- 1. The Heading Bug on the HSI no longer responds to standard AP offset assignments for the Heading Bug. For those of us that use hardware, or those that prefer keyboard assignments to mouse clicks, this is a real killer. :( As far as I can see, the only change to the heading bug is that it now makes small click sounds. Please give us the standard FS AP Heading Key Bindings back!! - far more important than a click. 2. Possibly tied to the above; when turning the heading knob with the mouse, with the AP on, the bug kept "popping back" to it's original position (the point it was at when HDG mode was turned on the AP). So it's effectively impossible to use HDG mode on the AP at present. 3. Unlike with the C441, there is only a 'standard GNS530' panel, or a GTN750/RXP500 combined panel. I don't think that many people own the RXP Weather Radar, so for those of us who only own the F1 GTN 750, there is a large, black, untextured whole in the middle of the panel! 4. As reported above, BATT switch is now reversed, I really hope the issues with the HDG BUG are resolved, and also that we can have a panel/model option for GTN750 only. The current bugs are showstoppers for me, and I'm back on v1.5.
February 15, 201511 yr Hey Capceo, Any news about fixes for all the bugs in v1.6 ? (see above post) It's a real shame because I love the aircraft, but the v1.6 issues (especially the Heading Bug) have made it a hanger queen for me. :(
February 15, 201511 yr I'd love to see a version were the user can install whatever radios, GPS, radar, etc. they desired. And yes, I am willing to trade 3D knobs for the versatility of installing my preferred equipment. February 19, 201511 yr Let us know if you have any input! It's great. Really great boss. :smile: All working again, and flying fantasticly. My single only constructive critical point would be that there is no option to use the F1 GTN750, without the RXP WX500. I personally suspect that a high % of users of this fine aircraft, already own the F1 GTN, but that a low % of people use Reality XP's WX500 weather. Thus, people who own, and want to use the F1 GTN750 with this aircraft, have to currently suffer a large black 'hole' in the middle of the VC; where the RXP WX500 is missing. :( We really need the same function that was provided with the mighty 441; options for ;- (i) default avionics (ii) F1 GTN 750 only (iii) F1 GTN 750 and RXP WX500. ..........or even just a 'dummy' image to go on top of that inactive area.. so that the model file doesn't need to be changed ? Even that would be great - anything to avoid the black blob !
